Crackle Effects - Decorative Paint

Walleffects crackle effects range differs from most other paint type decorative plaster crackle effects as we can introduce depth and texture using our unique Base Effects or Sand Stone Effects base coat.

The size of the cracks can be increased or decreased as desired. This is an easy finish designed for not only small furniture pieces but large scale applications.

You can also add a contemporary twist to your finish by using a metallic crackle.
To create impact why not apply the crackle against a finer textured surface.

Walleffects applying finishes to Dreampad at Toys4BigBoys Exhibition

Walleffects are participating at this year's Toys 4 Big Boys exhibition at the RDS in Dublin, Irleand. We are applying a variety of Polished Plaster (Marmorino) finishes to the bathroom and to the cinema room in the Dreampad home at the exhibition. Hopefully we'll see you there!

Polished Plaster (Marmorino)

The polished plaster courses Walleffects offer are mostly in demand from students who have some polished plaster training and have a little experience. The candidates will have a strong desire to work at a high level and begin learning a new experience that you can continue to develop for many years to come. The Walleffects instructors will pass on polished plaster tips and techniques developed over many decades.

Paint Effect Courses

The paint effects courses are aimed at professional decorators with a desire to learn something different using only water based products, achieving many different results.
Training using our bespoke finishes will cover the complete Walleffects paint range.

Stucco Italiano Flooring Marmorino.

Walleffects were responsible for the first UK installation of the prestigious Stucco Italiano Flooring Marmorino.
Set in the beautiful Welsh countryside the renovated old Mill had its main living area, kitchen, dining area and bathroom floors covered in a seamless, semi shine polished finish. The lime concrete was a perfect base for the flooring Marmorino.
The unique installation was recorded by the BBC show A Pembrokeshire Farm.

All of Walleffects' products are either water based or lime based. Many either have low voc content or even zero voc content. The colour of the product is achieved by natural pigments.

What is Polished Plaster?

Polished Plaster is a smooth shiny plaster made from Lime putty and Carrara marble powders. It is a natural Lime based plaster that requires a specialist application.
